This game is for 2 – 4 players and centers on the idea of making equations from the numbers shown on the game board. Each round of the game lasts 2 or 3 minutes – enough time for students to write the equations they find.
The directions, which includes some game boards can be found below. Additional game boards are also available as a pdf below.
To create additional game boards, you can generate 16 random numbers between 1 and 20 (or a larger range) and insert them into an empty grid. You will just need to look for several equations to make sure it is a valid game board.
